Monochrome Ocean

Hey there~

The game Monochrome Ocean is a little project I made for my Diploma Final Year Project, made in the span of 4 months(basically it was made for my study). As I have completed my showcase for this game at my University, I wanted to at least publish it so as to not let it collect dust and be forgotten lol.

Since this game was made in a rush, there may be a few bugs but hey it's still playable at the very least ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  So I hope you enjoy it~

Project Background

Monochrome Ocean was made in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6, Clean Water and Sanitation. Which is to say, the game's setting takes place underwater in which the world is consumed by the dark polluted waters. It is up to you, the players, to purify this world and return its colors.

Storyline

Just like any other ordinary day, Avenir spends the rest of his evenings walking along the shore near his house, collecting garbage that had been eyesores for a while now.

Today, though, he stumbled upon a peculiar looking bottle that seemed too proper to be a garbage. Upon closer inspection as he picked up said bottle, he finds a single letter, neatly tied.

As he opens the bottle, Avenir suddenly finds himself in an entirely different world, or rather, underwater. A peculiar spirit appears before him, asking for his help in saving this world, which has been revealed to be the distant future...
